Road Superintendent Jerry Burgess

Jerry Burgess was elected Road Superintendent in August of 2010 to a four year term.  Prior to his election, Mr. Burgess worked at the Highway Department for 32 years.  He is a 1975 graduate of Dickson County High School.  He is married to Vicki Burgess and they have two daughters, Nichole, and McKenzie, and one grandson, Boone.

Duties of the Highway Department

The duty of the Highway Department  is to maintain the roads of Dickson County.  This responsibility includes paving, grading, tar & sealing, ditching, salting and snow removal.
