At the Dickson County Higher Education Center, you conveniently can take your education to the next level with day, evening and online classes.
As a partnership between Nashville State Community College, Austin Peay State University and Dickson County, the Center offers
§ General education courses leading to degrees and certificates from Nashville State Community College. You can apply these credits to associate or bachelor’s degree programs.
§ College preparation classes through NSCC. These courses will prepare you for college-level coursework.
§ Courses for APSU’s Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies. This is a degree completion program that will prepare you for leadership roles in myriad organizations. APSU will apply course credits earned at other institutions toward the number of credits needed to complete the B.S.P.S. You’ll complete the remaining courses at the DCHLC.
§ Courses for APSU’s Master of Arts in Education with a concentration in Educational Leadership Studies. The program includes on-site and online classes and is designed for students who plan to become school administrators.
